(TLU) - On 14th January 2022, Thuyloi University (TLU) and JFILS limited company (JFILS Co. Ltd.) signed a cooperation agreement in scientific research and equipment (CM system) handover record.
The agreement was signed after dynamic exchanges and discussions between TLU and JFILS since last August. TLU and JFILS agreed to promote the cooperation on scientific research and workshop related on wastewater treatment and equipment handover for the laboratory in the Faculty of Chemistry and Environment.
The meeting was held both online and offline at TLU campus. On the side of JFILS Co., Ltd., there was Mr. Tani Kazumi – Director in Japan, Mr. Tran Thanh Son and engineers of ANSTECH company (representative of JFILS in Vietnam).
According to Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Canh Thai – Vice President of TLU, this agreement will create the strong connection and research network in the field of environmental protection, looking forward to sustainability. At the same time, the equipment provided by JFILS aiming at removal of organic matter in wastewater by using activated sludge and activated enzyme technologies, will contribute to improving the quality of teaching activities, supporting students to improve their practical skills on innovative models and devices for wastewater treatment.

In response to the Vice President's thanks, Mr. Tani Kazumi - Director of JFILS in Japan affirmed that JFILS would play role in supporting the operation and maintenance of CM system and follow up the research process to obtain the best results. Also, Mr. Tani Kazumi expects to develop further cooperation in mutual interested aspects between two sides.
