ADMISSION

REQUIREMENTS

· For bachelor’s programs

o Applicants must hold a high school diploma.

O An English proficiency certificate is not required. However, upon submitting a valid English proficiency certificate equivalent to IELTS band 5.5 or above, applicants will be exempted from all English courses in the first year and might be allowed to attend the second-year courses.

· For master’s programs

o Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.

o Applicants must have a valid English proficiency certificate equivalent to IELTS band 6 or above.

o Applicants have to submit two (2) Letters of Reference written by their employers or the institution where they obtained their bachelor’s degree.

o Applicants are encouraged to submit a personal statement describing their qualifications, expectations, and career goals relevant to the degree (1-2 page).

 

ADMISSION PROCESS

Step 1: Online application

Applicants scan and submit the following documents (in a single file) to the email address: [email protected]

· For bachelor’s programs:

o Application form (download HERE) 

o High school diploma or the confirmation of high school graduation 

o High school transcripts

o English or Vietnamese proficiency certificate issued by an authorized institute (if available)

o Identification page of passport

· For master’s programs:

o Application form (download HERE)

o Curriculum Vitae (download HERE)

o Diploma (certificate) of relevant bachelor’s degree

o Transcripts of bachelor’s degree

o English proficiency certificate

o Two (2) Letters of Reference from employer or degree-awarding institution

o Personal Statement

o Identification page of passport

Note: All of the documents shall be written in English or Vietnamese. If the diplomas and transcripts are not in English or Vietnamese, they have to be translated into English or Vietnamese and certified by relevant authorities.

 

Step 2: Postal application

Applicants submit the following documents by post or in person at the address:

           

·        For bachelor’s programs:

o   Application form

o   Certified copy of High school diploma or the confirmation of high school graduation

o   Certified copy of High school transcripts

o   Certified copy of English or Vietnamese proficiency certificate (if applicable)

o   Certified copy of identification page of passport

·        For master’s programs:

o   Application form

o   Curriculum Vitae

o   Certified copy of Diploma (certificate) of relevant bachelor’s degree

o   Certified copy of Transcripts of bachelor’s degree

o   Certified copy of English proficiency certificate

o   Two (2) Letters of Reference from employer or degree-awarding institution

o   Personal Statement

o   Certified copy of identification page of passport

Step 3: Evaluation and results

· Applicants’ documents will be reviewed and evaluated. Applicants might be contacted via email for further information.

· Eligible applicants will be called for interview. The time and venue of the interview will be informed via email or telephone.

· The final results will be announced via email and on the website http://ts.tlu.edu.vn  

 

Step 4:  Admission

An acceptance letter will be sent to successful candidates via email and by post. Successful candidates are required to complete the admission process by the time indicated in the acceptance letter.

Applicants are required to bring the following documents:

·        For bachelor’s programs:

o   Acceptance letter

o   Original copy of High school transcripts and diploma

o   Passport

o   Curriculum Vitae

o   Health certificate (in English or Vietnamese)

·        For master’s programs:

o   Acceptance letter

o   Passport

 

SCHOLARSHIPS

In 2022, all the new international bachelor students who do not have any scholarship will receive 50% tuition waiver and free accommodation at the TLU dormitories during the whole degree program.
