Thuyloi University Signs Cooperation Agreement with Chosun College of Science and Technology (South Korea)

As part of the business trip to South Korea, in the afternoon of June 19, in Gwangju city, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trung Viet – President of Thuyloi University, together with a delegation of leaders from departments and faculties, visited and held a working session with Chosun College of Science and Technology, one of South Korea’s leading institutions in the field of fundamental industries.

According to the Ministry of Education of South Korea, Chosun College of Science and Technology is ranked No.1 in training for fundamental industries, with a strong focus on education that aligns with the practical demands of businesses and the labor market. The college is equipped with top-tier training facilities, including various models of automobiles, internal combustion engines, electric motors, and hybrid systems from major manufacturers such as Hyundai and Bosch.

At present, the college offers a wide range of high-demand vocational programs in fields such as: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Construction, Beauty Technology, and Nursing, among others.

During the meeting, witnessed by senior representatives from both sides, the Institute for Applied Reseach in Technology and Enterprise Partnership - Thuyloi University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Chosun College of Science and Technology.

Key areas of cooperation include: supporting the provision of laboratory equipment for practical training; and jointly recruiting students to participate in vocational training programs, particularly in fundamental industry sectors, through a dual-country training model.

The working session demonstrated Thuyloi University’s strong commitment to expanding international collaboration focused on practical application, contributing to the enhancement of vocational education quality and meeting the demands of the domestic and regional labor markets.

At the end of the visit, the delegation toured the college's training facilities and engaged in discussions with Vietnamese students currently studying at the institution.
