Moreover, we especially emphasize trilateral cooperation among universities, enterprises, and international partners to bridge academic training with real-world practice and better serve local development."

One of the key highlights of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between Thuyloi University and Chosun University to officially establish the King Sejong Institute at Hung Yen Campus. The center is expected to play a vital role in enhancing Korean language proficiency among students and staff, while also serving the broader community and opening up learning and career opportunities in South Korea for Vietnamese citizens.

Also within the framework of the event, the two universities launched the Chosun University Global Strategy Center, located at Thuyloi University's Hung Yen Campus. This center will serve as a key hub for coordinating international cooperation, interdisciplinary research, and the development of high-quality academic programs aligned with regional and international standards.

Of particular importance was the signing of the tripartite MoU between Thuyloi University, Chosun University, and VTK Hung Yen Co., Ltd., laying the foundation for a variety of collaborative programs such as international joint training courses, enterprise internships, joint research, and initiatives to develop high-quality human resources. As the business partner in this tripartite model, VTK Hung Yen has pledged to actively support the implementation of practical programs, contributing to local industrial and socio-economic development.

This event exemplifies Thuyloi University’s strategic direction of "integration for development". In the context of Vietnam’s deeper integration into the global higher education landscape, the establishment of strategic cooperation centers and the expansion of international partnerships are essential foundations for improving educational quality and meeting the increasingly complex demands of both society and the global labor market.

Previously, during a working visit to South Korea in June 2025, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trung Viet – President of Thuyloi University – held a direct working session and signed a memorandum of understanding with Chosun University in Gwangju city. Following the official invitation from Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trung Viet, Chosun University promptly sent a high-level delegation led by President Prof. Dr. Kim Choon Sung to Vietnam. One of the positive outcomes of this exchange was the two universities' agreement to implement a series of concrete collaborative activities, most notably the establishment of the King Sejong Institute at Hung Yen Campus – a critical step toward advancing education, culture, and high-quality human resource development between Vietnam and South Korea.
