Memorandum of Understanding Exchange Ceremony between Thuyloi University and Tokyo City University, Japan
On the afternoon of August 8, Thuyloi University hosted a reception for representatives of Tokyo City University, Japan to present an MOU and discuss academic matters.
The delegation of Tokyo City University working with TTU included Prof. Iijima Kentaro -Dean of Faculty of Environmental Studies; Prof. Go Sato; Prof. Furukawa Ryuzo; Assoc. Prof. Genku Kayo and 11 students from Tokyo City University.
On behalf of Thuyloi University, there were the participation of Assoc.Prof. Nguyen Canh Thai - Vice President; Assoc.Prof. Ho Sy Tam - Head of the Department of Science, Technology and International Cooperation, along with representatives of the Faculty of Civil Engineering; Faculty of Chemistry and Environment; Faculty of Water Resources Engineering; School of International Education along with students of the University.
At the beginning of the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Ho Sy Tam expressed his gratitude to Tokyo City University for taking the time to work with TLU and introducing the program as well as the members of the delegations from both sides.
Speaking at the meeting, Assoc.Prof. Nguyen Canh Thai - Vice President gave a brief introduction about Thuyloi University, and also thanked the other side for taking the time to come to the University to exchange the MOU and conduct academic discussion with Thuyloi University. He also invited Tokyo City University to attend the 65th Anniversary Ceremony of Thuyloi University in November.
On behalf of Tokyo City University's delegation, Prof. Iijima Kentaro thanked TLU for welcoming and inviting him to attend the University's Anniversary Ceremony. He was also very pleased to work and cooperate with TLU and wished to promote research activities in the future. In addition, Prof. Go Sato also introduced Tokyo City University, including its scale, development history, training programs and outstanding figures of the University.
The Memorandum of Understanding Exchange Ceremony between Thuyloi University and Tokyo City University is an important event, marking the beginning of a close and effective cooperative relationship between the two sides. Both sides expressed their hope that through this cooperation, the two sides will move towards deeper cooperation in research, academics and exchange of lecturers and students between the two universities.
After the Ceremony, the two sides had an academic discussion through presentations by students from the two universities related to Environmental Science and environmental management.
