Business and Hotel Management School (BHMS) visited and worked with Thuyloi University

On the morning of July 19, Thuyloi University had a reception and worked with representatives of B.H.M.S., Switzerland on potential training cooperation between the two insstitutions.

The delegation of B.H.M.S. visiting Thuyloi University included Mr. Urs Eberhardt - Regional Sales and Marketing Manager, and Ms. Hoang Minh Thuy Duong - Country Manager of B.H.M.S. in Vietnam.

On behalf of Thuyloi University, there was the participation of Prof. Dr. Trinh Minh Thu - President of the University, along with representatives of the Department of Academic Affairs, theInstitute for Applied Research of Technology and Enterprise Partnership and the Faculty of Economics and Management.
At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Trinh Minh Thu expressed his gratitude to B.H.M.S. for taking the time to visit and work with Thuyloi University. The President of the University briefly introduced the scale and strengths of TLU, domestic training programs, international training cooperation and exchange programs, etc. He also expressed his wish to cooperate in training with B.H.M.S. and hope that in the near future, students of Thuy Loi University will also have the opportunity to experience studying at B.H.M.S.

On behalf of B.H.M.S., Mr. Urs Eberhardt also provided some general information about the School. B.H.M.S belongs to the Swiss Bénédict School group and is one of the largest private schools in Switzerland as well as one of the leading prestigious training institutions for Hotel Management and Culinary Arts in Switzerland. Each academic year is divided into 6 months of study and 6 months of internship. In addition, the School also mentioned the entry requirements for students who need to apply or exchange students.

Prof. Dr. Trinh Minh Thu also said that TLU has signed and built training cooperation programs such as 2+2, 3+1,... and is very willing to cooperate with B.H.M.S. in the field of training. He expressed that the two sides can sign a new Memorandum of Understanding with more details on the field of cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Trinh Minh Thu thanked the guests for taking the time to work with TLU and hoped that the two sides would be able to cooperate in the near future. On behalf of the TLU, Prof. Dr. Trinh Minh Thu invited B.H.M.S. to attend the 65th anniversary ceremony of the university this coming November.
