On June 13, Thuyloi University had a meeting with the Hanoi Department of Science and Technology on the orientation of science and technology tasks at the city level in 2024 and the following years and some contents related to the implementation of Program 07-Ctr/TU of the Hanoi Party Committee, term XVII.
Overview of the meeting
Attending the meeting, on the side of the Thuyloi University there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Hue - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the University Council, representatives of the Department of Science, Technology and International Cooperation and leaders of faculties and institutes and research centers of the university. On the side of Hanoi Department of Science and Technology, there were Mr. Nguyen Hong Son - Director of Hanoi Department of Science and Technology, head of departments, experts and scientists.

During the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Hue reported on the results of the implementation of scientific and technological tasks of the University of Water Resources from 2018 to present; stated the key research directions of the university and evaluated the application of research results into practice. Next, Dr. Le Quang Tuan – Deputy Head of Department of Science, Technology and International Cooperation of TLU reported on research orientation and proposed ordering science and technology tasks in 2024.
The delegates discussed effective on the current urgent issues of the city such as: urban flooding; water pollution, livestock waste pollution, air pollution; safely and effectively manage multi-purpose reservoirs, ensuring water security; using smart technology to warn of city problems etc.

The representative of Hanoi Department of Science and Technology highly appreciated the results of scientific research activities and production service of the university and hoped that in the future, the university would continue to promote the role of a leading research-oriented university of the whole country, solving current urgent problems to make a positive contribution to the development of the capital.
