On the afternoon of June 6, Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering, Thuyloi University signs a memorandum of understanding with USOL Company, Japan.
Participating in the signing ceremony, on the side of USOL Company there were Mr. Immichi Masahiro – General Director; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Hau - Director of the Development Department and the company's employees.
On the side of the Thuyloi University, there were Prof. Dr. Trinh Minh Thu - President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Quynh - Dean of Faculty of Computer Science and Engneering; representatives of departments and students.
Usol Company was established on June 1, 2006 in Hanoi, is the center in Vietnam of BIPROGY Group. In 2010, the Company established a branch in Toyosu Japan. In 2013, Usol established a branch in Ho Chi Minh City, performing BPO operations related to CAD data construction.
Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Trinh Minh Thu – TLU’ President introduced about the university and affirmed that the university always wish to promote cooperation with domestic and foreign enterprises to create internship opportunities, improve practical skills and find jobs for the students after graduation. The Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering is also one of the leading faculties of the university in terms of enrollment, training, and scientific research with nearly 100 staff and lecturers; including many lecturers with PhD degrees or higher.

The Presidenr expressed his delight at the cooperation between the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering and Usol Company; At the same time, it is expected that the two sides will focus on a number of issues such as: (1) Sharing of human resources; (2) Usol Company will be the connection point for IT enterprises with Japan and other countries in the region; (3) Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering and Usol Company will regularly organize seminars and workshop to share and exchange new scientific research for mutual development; (4) The two sides will jointly develop research programs with funding from both sides or from the Vietnam Government; (5) Usol Company will support the students to participate in new technology competitions and organize competitions at the university; (6) Usol will provide more intership opportunities for the students.

According to the cooperation agreement, the two sides agreed to implement cooperation activities towards the purpose of improving capacity and creating job opportunities for students, specifically as follows:
- Organizing training activities to improve knowledge and skills for students;
- Co-organizing cooperation programs to take students for internships, business visits, career counseling and recruitment;
- Usol Company considers provide scholarships for students of the university with professional capacity or skills in accordance with the desired criteria of the company;
- Usol Company supports students to organize and participate in technology competitions and extra-curricular activities;
- Collaborating to support and deploy scientific research projects of students and lecturers in accordance with the strength and application orientation of Usol.
