(TLU) – After a period of effective working from August 2020, on 3rd March 2021, the Thuyloi University held an online signing ceremony for Memorandum of Understanding with the UPraise Co.Ltd, Japan.
After the first meeting and discussion about the cooperation between TLU and UPraise Vietnam (http://en.tlu.edu.vn/News-and-Events/the-upraise-co--ltd-japan-visited-and-had-11122), Mr. Nguyen Quang Tung - Director of UPraise Vietnam in Hanoi has been coming to the TLU to work with leaders of faculties such as Faculty of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering .etc. to recruit students to do internship in Japanese companies from 6 months to a year. With the efforts of the two sides in past time, there are 3 students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering who passed the interview round, currently applying for a visa to be able to enter Japan soon. This is a good beginning to promise longer development in the cooperation between the University and the Company.

Attending the ceremony, on the side of the UPraise Company in Japan, there were Mr. Iwahori Katsuhide - Chairman and Mr. Phan Van Thien - Human Resource Manager of Vietnam in Japan. In addition, the representative of UPraise Vietnam is Mr. Nguyen Quang Tung - Director of UPraise Vietnam in Hanoi. On the side of TLU, there was Prof. Trinh Minh Thu - President and representatives of related departments as well as the faculties.

In the welcome speech, Prof. Trinh Minh Thu deeply thanked the partners for their efforts and goodwill for the cooperation with the TLU. This cooperation is completely in line with the goal and orientation of sustainable and positive development of the University. Therefore, the President agreed to support in all aspects for a better relationship between the two sides, bringing more benefits for both parties and students. From UPraise in Japan, Mr. Iwahori also expressed his joy since the two sides found a common voice in training, enrollment, linking to create stable occupation for students and developing high quality of human resources for Vietnam and Japan. He pledged to coordinate and support TLU in organizing free Japanese training classes, organizing programs and seminars to advise and career guidance for students.
In the discussion between TLU and UPraise Company, the Company has committed to expanding the recruitment scale of more majors for the University's students. In addition, the Company will also act as a link between Japanese investors with the University's research and projects to promote the capabilities and strengths of each party.
Next, the two sides conducted an online signing ceremony at both Vietnam and Japan in the witness of relevant representatives.
