(TLU) - On February 27, 2020, a memorandum of understanding was signed among Center of Water Resources Research and Engineering Application, Civil and Environmental Engineering Laboratory – Thuyloi University and Center for Development of Construction Management and inspection Technology (CDMI) – State Authority for Construction Quality Inspection.

According to Mr. Pham Tien Van - Deputy Director of State Authority for Construction Quality, CDMI has functions to help the State Authority for Construction Quality to organize the research, development and application of technical advances in the fields of project management, inspection and quality inspection of construction works; certification of conformity and standards for construction products and quality management systems of construction works.

Based on the requirements of development and maximizing resources to serve the common working requirements between related parties to improve the professional capacity and effectiveness of construction quality assessment, the content of MOU includes following specific cooperation:
- Cooperation in exchanging contents related to training human resources in the field of construction, including design, construction, and quality assessment of construction works
- Cooperation in scientific research, technology application, serving activities in the construction industry
- Cooperation in exploiting and effectively using available equipment and facilities to serve training, applied research and assessing the quality of construction works
The MOU will positively contribute on strengthening partnerships, promoting the strengths of each party to jointly improve the capacity and efficiency of state management and serve practical requirements and meet integration requirements for long-term goals of stable and sustainable development in the field of quality assessment of construction works.
