Thuyloi University is ready to welcome students back on May 11

As Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc declared, Vietnam has successfully contained the Covid-19 spread with no local transmission cases found for the last 22 days. It is the time for all the socio-economic activities in the whole country to be resumed. Thuyloi University decides to reopen for students on May 11, 2020.

The university has been implementing many necessary preventive measures to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for students. All buildings and classes have been cleaned and disinfected.

Cleaning and disinfection have been implemented frequently

Since the first wave of Covid-19 spread in Vietnam in February, the Faculty of Chemistry and Environment’s lecturers and students have produced thousands of bottles of hand sanitizers in accordance with WHO’s instructions to distribute for TLU’s staff and local people for free. They will continue to be made available at various places on campus for students.

Made-in-TLU hand sanitizers are to be provided for free on campus

All of students are also to be checked temperature daily when they come back to the university. This is to lessen the risks of Covid-19 spread within the university and make sure students are taken care of when the epidemic is still a constant threat in the world.

Faculty members and staff have been trained to use digital thermometers

After nearly three months conducting classes online, TLU’s lecturers are excited to see their students again. All online lessons will be reviewed for students during the first weeks to make sure students acquire all essential knowledge before the end-of-semester exams.

Everything is ready. Thuyloi University is determined to work together and stay strong for the coming stage of the fight against Covid-19 pandemic.
