Press release of SigTelCom2020

On August 28th, 2020, the 4th International conference on Recent advanced in signal processing, telecommucations and computing (SigTelCom2020) is to be held at Room 225 – Building A2, Thuyloi University.

Originated from International Conference on Computing, Management and Telecommunications (ComManTel), the International Conference on Recent Advances in Signal Processing, Telecommunications & Computing (SigTelCom) features a comprehensive technical programme that spans most state-of-the-art research in all mentioned fields.

The 4th International Conference on Recent Advances in Signal Processing, Telecommunications & Computing (SigTelCom2020) will extend the series of the annual conference, which was previously held in Da Nang (2017), Ho Chi Minh City (2018) and Hanoi (2019).  SigTelCom2020 is technically supported by Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and IEEE Vietnam; and mainly sponsored by Newton Institutional Links, and delievered by British Council.

SigTelCom2020 is honoured to have 03 keynote speakers who are the leading scientists in signal processing, telecommunications and computing: Prof. Nguyen Duc Hoa (Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Vietnam), Assoc.Prof. Hoa Le-Minh (Northumbria University, UK), and Dr. Antonino Masaracchia (Queen’s University Belfast, UK).

This year, the conference received more than 50 submissions from 15 countries. Each paper was reviewed by at least 3 experts, chosen from 295 Technical Program Committee members in the academia, government laboratories, and industries. After carefully examining all the received review reports, the SigTelCom TPC finally selected only 21 high quality papers for presentation at the conference and publication in the IEEE SigTelCom2020 proceedings.

The content of the conference this year targets at the topical issues regarding the theories, algorithms and applications in signal processing, telecommunicationss, and computing with the theme IoT and Telecomunication 5G in mitigating natural disasters and environmental degradation. The conference consists of 04 sessions:

- Electronics and Control Systems

- Security, privacy & computing technologies

- Telecommunications Systems and Networks

- Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligent & Applications

SigTelCom2020 is expected to continue the strong performance in 2019, making contribution in enhancing the research quality and increasing international publications in Vietnam. This will also be an opportunity for colleagues in signal processing, telecommunications, and computing to discuss, exchange and approach new knowledge in planerary and parallel sessions.
