Vietnam Meteorological and Hydrological Administration - Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MONRE) and Thuyloi university (TLU) will cooperate in training high quality human resources in the field of hydrology and water resources through the doctorate programs, master programs, and undergraduate programs. This is one of the important contents approved by Vietnam Meteorological and Hydrological Administration and Thuyloi University at the Memorandum of Understanding signing ceremony on the afternoon of August 13, 2020.
MoU signing ceremony at TLU
It is clearly stated in the MoU that Vietnam Meteorological and Hydrological Administration will advise the university on practical requirements for training human resources in the hydrology field; create favorable conditions for TLU’s students to have opportunities to study and practice in hydrometeorology management and professional units from the central to local levels.
Vietnam Meteorological and Hydrological Administration will coordinate with TLU to propose and implement scientific and technological projects in the field of hydrometeorology, climate change, natural disaster prevention and response; organize science and technology seminars on hydrometeorology, water resources and climate change.
Prof. Dr. Trịnh Minh Thụ - the President of TLU and Prof. Dr. Trần Hồng Thái - the General Director of Vietnam Meteorological and Hydrological Administration sign the MoU
Prof. Dr. Trịnh Minh Thụ - the President of TLU affirmed that signing MoU aims to realize the contents that the two sides have exchanged and shared interest in.
