and the New Zealand partners, Damwatch and GNS
For the past few years, TLU has been supported by the Embassy of New Zealand in research and capacity strengthening. The Vietnam - New Zealand Dam Safety Project (VNZDSP 2012-2022) funded by the Government of New Zealand and implemented by TLU in cooperation with Damwatch and GNS have been enhancing the capacity of the university’s (and the local) specialists and making remarkable contributions in dam safety management, currently a critical issue in Vietnam. In addition, for the last three years, three faculty staffs of TLU received scholarships to participate in 4-month English courses for officials in New Zealand.
