International Cooperation

International Cooperation has always been one of the most important strategies of Thuyloi University. The University’s cooperative relationships in training, research and mutual capacity building with international institutes and organizations have developed intensively in both quality and quantity. Various MOUs on bilateral and multilateral collaboration in training and research have been signed and actively practiced between TLU and prestigious universities from USA, The Netherlands, Italy, Singapore, Japan, China, Germany, Belgium, France, India, Finland, Laos, etc., providing the University’s faculty staffs and students with significant opportunities to broaden their boundaries of knowledge and experience in advanced study and research environments in the world. In addition, as a key university in Vietnam, TLU has been part of many capacity strengthening and joint research projects funded by ADB, World Bank, Government of The Netherlands, Government of Denmark, Government of New Zealand, Government of Japan, Government of Germany, etc., contributing to the increased capacity and prestige of the University in the region and the world in the sectors of water, hydropower, environment and disaster management. This is indicated by the fact that TLU is a frequent host for many international workshops, seminars and conferences on those fields.
