TLU Student Research Conference 2020 ended on a high note

141 research papers were presented at the conference, increasing by 20% compared to 2019. The papers were also diverse in content with the products of good quality and high applicability.

TLU’s 33rd Student Research Conference was more successful than expected

TLU Student Research Conference is organized annually in June with the aim of promoting the passion for research and creating a vibrant academic atmosphere for the students, contributing to improve the quality of teaching and learning in the university. Many students have discovered and nurtured their dreams and ambitions to become a scientist and a researcher thanks to this important activity.

As in previous years, the Conference consisted of two rounds: faculty-level and university-level. After the first round at faculty-level, the best papers and presentations were selected for prizes and nominated for the university round held on 6th June 2020.

TLU’s 33rd Student Research Conference showcased many excellent papers. Some of them have the potential to be developed into real products and are highly regarded by enterprises.  There is a high chance that a few awarded products will receive investment and put into manufacture with the support of enterprises and be used widely.

The results of the conference manifested the creativity and enthusiasm in research of TLU students. It is expected that more students will participate in scientific research and more outstanding initiatives will be presented in the next TLU Student Research Conference.
