Thuyloi University sign the Memorandum of Understanding with Korea Polytechnic University

On 8 March 2018, Thuyloi University signed a new Memorandum of Understanding with the Korea Polytechnic University, Korea.

After the first successful visit of the delegation of the Korea Polytechnic University (KPU) and ATI Academy of International Education (ATI) on 26 December 2017, the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between TLU and KPU was held at Room 225 - Building A2, TLU on 8 March 2018. The distinguished guests attending the ceremony include Prof. Dr. Choi Jeong-Hun – Dean of School of Applied Industrial Technology, Prof. Dr. Hong Seong-Soo – Dean of Faculty of Dual Industry and Faculty of Industrial Design, and the representatives of ATI. On behalf of TLU are Prof. Dr. Trinh Minh Thu - the President, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Trung Viet - the Vice President and Heads of related departments and faculties.

Prof. Trinh Minh Thu commenced the ceremony by a welcome speech and conveyed his sincere appreciation for the efforts of the involved parties in preparing the MOU. He acknowledged the importance of the MOU with KPU in the comprehensive development of TLU in the upcoming years. In response, Prof. Choi Jeong-Hun expressed his delight to establish a cooperative relationship with TLU. He emphasized his strong belief in the continued growth and development of TLU as a multidiscipline university. Both sides affirmed their commitment to the practical implementation of the collaborative initiatives indicated in the MOU.

Two universities’ representatives officially signed the MoU

The MOU was signed by Prof. Trinh Minh Thu, on behalf of TLU, and Prof. Huyn Ho AHN – President of KPU. The MOU signifies the joint aspirations of KPU and TLU to develop an effective partnership in education and research with collaborative activities in the fields of mechanical engineering, IT, product design and electronics such as 2+2 programs, joint research projects, and academic and student exchange.

Following the signing of the MOU, the universities will look forward to developing a 2+2 program which is expected to start in the next academic year.
