Annual meeting 2012 E2M - Net Capacity building in Environmental engineering and management in Southeast Asia (Laos, Thailand and Viet Nam) was held in room 223, Building A1, the WRU in two days April 25th and 26th.

Annual meeting 2012 E2M - Net Capacity building in Enviromental engingeering and management in Southeast Asia (Laos, Thailand and Viet Nam) was held in room 223, Building A1, the WRU in two days April 25th and 26th. Attending the seminar were Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quang Kim -Principal of the University, Prof. Dr. Le Dinh Thanh - Vice principal the University, representatives from the countries Germany, Laos, Thailand, ... and the staff faculty.

Opening the workshop Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quang Kim welcame speech to representatives of national participation. The Principal introduced to the participants of the training in school and stressed WRU always trying to expand educational development with countries in the world, soWRU needed the cooperation help organizations and other countries such as Germany, Thailand, Laos, ... Next, Prof. Dr. Hubert Roth - University of Siegen, Germany - DAAD funding representatives presented the project "Capacity building of engineering and environmental management." Research project from January 2006 and has been awarded with the participation of the University of Siegen, Germany, University of Krakow, Poland, International Institute of Technology Sirindhorn, Thailand, University national University of Laos, .... the collaboration between the university with the main objective is to increase research capacity and fostering capacity development, establishing cooperative relations among nations.

This year's annual workshop participants work together to implement the project plan in 2012. In the framework of the project with the aim of the National University of Laos to help train a master's course on engineering capacity and environmental management. Water Resources University and International Institute of Technology Sirindhorn, Thailand participated support forces faculty teaching exchanges, exchange of faculty experience with Laos. Besides, the project participants also have examined the environmental status in the participating countries. Water Resource University sent four workshops on environmental reporting members appreciate. End of the conference agreed that the admission of Cambodia is a member of the project officially began in 2012.
